Can you paint a frog eating a watermelon? I bet you can!

First of all, when you get your paints and brushes out, it is best to dip your brushes in water to get them ready for paint. Never leave your brushes in the water after you’re done.

Draw with a pencil or colored pencil the design you want to paint. I am including two pictures, a frog in a dress eating watermelon and a frog clinging to a branch.
You can color your background in either before or after you’ve painted your picture.
Don’t worry about staying in the lines that you’ve drawn. It is just to give you a guide as you paint. You can use any combination of colors that you like. Just have fun with it!

Sign your art. You don’t have to hang art on walls. You can stand them up on a bookcase, or on the countertop or stick them in a pot of flowers.

Enjoy! ~ Chris
